Do you remember in March when we launched the Montana Brewery Bracket—a March Madness style tournament that pitted Montana’s best breweries against each other? Breweries advanced through the tourney by a vote from Montana beer fans. After nearly 35,000 votes the Philipsburg Brewing Company took the title as Montana’s favorite brewery.
After a couple months of being pleased with ourselves it all wore off, because “♪♪ after the show it’s the after-party. And after the party it’s that empty feeling of loneliness that creeps into your mind, and says ‘what are you doing with your life?♪♪’” Worry not. I’m working through all this in therapy.
So we decided to step out from behind the computer (gasp!) and step it up by a notch. This summer we’re hitting the road to visit all of Montana’s breweries. Repeat: we’re visiting ALL of Montana’s breweries. This sounds ambitious, because it is. We’re awesome. And we’re pretty damn serious about our beer, and no one is more serious about Montana.
