Week 9 is in the books and the final week of the regular season is upon us! Some playoff seeds are set and a host of other teams are simply fighting for a spot in the postseason. Week 10 should be ripe with drama!

My Reasons
- Bozeman, West, Helena High, Flathead and Senior are already in. However, four of those Top 5 play each other, so playoff seeding will be up for grabs for everyone, but Bozeman.
- Five teams sit at 4-5 and all will be battling for the remaining three playoff spots beginning Thursday night when Glacier travels to Missoula to take on Hellgate. Can the Knights finish off their best season in six years with an upset win over the Wolfpack?
- GFH needs a win against crosstown rival CMR if they want to keep their season alive. They enter the game as favorites, but they’ve lost their last four games. Will the Rustlers play the role of spoiler or will the Bison finish on a high note and clinch a postseason berth?
- Butte has rallied in recent weeks to make a late push for a playoff spot. On paper they’re favored against Big Sky, but the Eagles are one of the scrappiest squads in the state and could easily douse Butte’s postseason dreams in the Garden City on Friday.
- Sentinel lost another heartbreaker last week, this time falling in overtime to Helena High. Each of their five losses have come by a touchdown or less. They face a stiff test in Helena on Friday against a Capital squad that has drastically improved throughout the season en route to a 4-5 record.
